Dr. Kevin Majeres, a psychiatrist, delivered a talk at the last session for this year’s Edge in early May. Dr. Majeres teaches Psychiatry to residents at Beth Israel Hospital and has his own private practice. The Edge is a seminar program at Chestnut Hill Center that encourages high school young men to look beyond high school and prepare now to be men of character and to be effective in college and later on as a father, a professional, and a citizen.
Dr. Majeres’ talk was on Overcoming Anxiety and Distractions, a pertinent topic for the times we live in. Dr. Majeres is also at the forefront of Optimal Work, a strategy of working effectively to bring greater meaning to life. See www.optimalwork.org for more.
